The Earthroamer XV-HD, originally a Ford pickup truck, has been transformed into a million-dollar motorhome with every luxury you could imagine. The living-quarters are seriously luxurious with a Bose surround-sound system, king-size beds (to sleep six), heated floors, a fully fitted bathroom and shower-room. The kitchen area is fitted with a washing machine and tumble dryer, cooker with induction hob, Bosch microwave, fridge freezer and sink.

The Colorado-based company have been building these luxury expedition vehicles for the past ten years, but this is the most expensive model yet.

Campervans have become more and more popular over the years, allowing you to camp and go without all the fuss of dismantling camping gear. There are many sites around the country and companies that convert vehicles into custom-made campervans such as Welsh Coast Campers. You can contact Welsh Coast Campers for more information.

Campervan enthusiasts are a worldwide phenomenon, creating groups and becoming members of the social network motorhome club. Here they can talk about experiences and places they have camped and help each other out with any problems. They meet up several times a year at rallies and swap knowledge and show off their motorhomes, which are all very individual inside.

We may not all be able to afford a million dollars for a motorhome, but given half a chance, you would probably try one out so you could pretend for a weekend to be a millionaire.
