Hot water is faster to freeze than cold water

It’s true, this is the most counterintuitive thing you can do. The hottest water will freeze first if you put it in an ice cube tray. The Mpemba effect is named after a Tanzanian student, who discovered it back in 1960. Scientists are still unsure why this happens.

Did you know that 97% all the water on Earth is saltwater? Of the little fresh water available, two thirds are frozen in ice caps and glaciers.

A koala is able to go longer than a camel

Koalas do not need to drink any water. They can get their fluids by eating leaves of eucalyptus. Camels can survive for only six months with no water.
