Apple has introduced its new Macbook Pro, or rather has updated its most popular laptop models. While retaining the same design, they have more power, new features and features that make them very interesting models that affect the 13, 15 and 17-inch models.
It is appreciated that Apple, despite the substantial improvement of the equipment, retains the same price range. 1220 USD for the basic configuration model 13 – inch, 1860 for that of 15 – inch and 2660 for the of 17. As usual, we are offered the possibility of introducing changes in the configuration with the consequent price increase.
The main innovations introduced are the use of powerful processors Intel Core i5 2.7 GHz for 13 – inch model and processor i7 quad-core up to 2.3 GHz for models 15 and 17 inches. The latter can reach 3.4 GHz in Turbo Boost mode and have 8 MB of cache memory. It should be noted that carry the latest models of Intel processors, Sandy Bridge, which have an integrated GPU.
Models 15 and 17 inches, in addition to said integrated GPU, carry a powerful integrated AMD graphics card up to 1 GB of memory (6490M in the 15 – inch model and 6750M in the 17 – inch model). This dual GPU allows great graphics power to these two models, allowing to run the most powerful applications in graphics, reproduce or edit video in high definition or even play current video games.

One of the most important developments of these new models is the use of the new technology of Intel, Thunderbolt , which allows to connect various devices to a high speeds of up to 10 Gbps of bandwidth. In addition, it supports Fire Wire, USB, red Ethernet and we can also use it as a high quality video output. Apple introduced on all models Facetime HD, or what is the same webcam HD to our video conferencing. It also allows recording video at 720p.
As for the other features, all three models have a long – lasting autonomy around 7 hours and will allow us to work from anywhere without having to be aware of every bit load, which is always appreciated. Also, all Macbook pro start, in its initial configuration, 4 GB of RAM. As for storage capacity, it has not made the jump to SSD memory and opt for traditional hard drives of 320, 500 and 750GB depending on the model. Although as we said at the beginning, some features such as RAM and hard disk, are configurable according to our needs.
